How many times have you told yourself that you are unlucky when the real problem is that you keep making the same choices?

In this episode of The Strong Life Project, Shaun O’Gorman explores one of the hardest truths about personal growth, resilience and success. Sometimes what we call bad luck is actually a pattern of behaviour that we have failed to recognise or change.

You can change jobs, relationships, businesses, cities and circumstances, but if you keep taking the same approach, you can continue creating the same outcomes. The names and situations may change, but the underlying pattern remains.

This episode challenges you to take a hard look at the decisions you repeatedly make. Are you choosing the same type of people? Are you avoiding difficult conversations? Are you procrastinating on the things that matter? Are you ignoring warning signs because facing the truth would require you to change?

Resilience is not simply about surviving difficult circumstances. It is about developing the self awareness to recognise what is within your control and having the courage to act differently.

If you want a stronger life, you have to become willing to examine your own behaviour honestly. That means taking responsibility for your decisions without blaming yourself for everything that goes wrong.

Your past can explain your patterns, but it does not have to dictate your future.

If you keep getting the same result, stop asking why life keeps happening to you and start asking what you keep doing that produces the same result.
