WELCOME TO THE STRONG LIFE PROJECT

I’m Shaun O’Gorman, and I’m really happy that you’re here.

At The Strong Life Project, I am all about achieving high performance and living a great life. My mission is to help you become the best version of yourself, both professionally and personally.

I’ve been in the process of improving myself and creating a life I love for 20 years now after a 13-year Police career that resulted in PTSD, depression and a battle with suicide.

I’ve learned a lot about what it takes to succeed in life. Whether you’re looking to improve your performance at work, build better relationships, deal more effectively with stress and challenges, or simply live a more fulfilling life, I’m here to help.

One of the key things I’ve learned is that success and happiness don’t just happen by accident. They require intentional effort and a commitment to personal growth. That’s why at The Strong Life Project, we focus on providing you with the tools, resources, and support you need to achieve your goals.

Our approach is based on the latest research in psychology, neuroscience, and performance science, as well as years of lived experience dealing with clients and corporations. We believe that by understanding how the brain and physiology work, you can unlock your full potential and achieve success in all areas of your life.

So whether you’re a business owner, a corporate professional, an athlete, or simply someone who wants to live their best life, The Strong Life Project is here to help you achieve your goals. Join our community today and start living your strongest life!

Who is Shaun O’Gorman?

Shaun is a man who has overcome immense adversity to create an extraordinary life. Despite facing violence, trauma, and mental health struggles, Shaun refused to let his past define him.

With a 13-year career in law enforcement, a diagnosis of PTSD and depression, and a prolonged battle with suicide, Shaun’s journey has been far from easy. However, he never gave in and never gave up. Instead, he created a life filled with happiness, success, and fulfilment.

Today, Shaun enjoys a great relationship with his daughters, an amazing partner, and a thriving career as a coach, mentor, and speaker. He is healthier and fitter than ever before and lives a life he once only dreamed of. He is happier now than he has ever been in his life.

Shaun’s experiences have made him a powerful force for good. He now dedicates his life to helping others live their own version of the Strong Life. His message is simple: it doesn’t matter where you come from or what you’ve been through; you can create a life of strength, resilience, and happiness.

Join Shaun on this process towards a stronger, more fulfilling life. Let him show you what’s possible when you refuse to give up and embrace the Strong Life.

The Strong Life Podcast is a daily dose of mindset and mastery, where I dig into the behaviours, habits and beliefs that can either enhance or derail our lives.

There are over 1800 episodes (usually around 10 minutes in length).

My Dark Companion Book

'MY DARK COMPANION' BOOK

My book ‘My Dark Companion’ shares my journey from my darkest days of PTSD, suicidal tendencies and unhealthy behaviours through to the life I’m living today – one that is filled with positive relationships, vital health and a career that I know is my purpose.

Not just a story, it is filled with lessons on how to live a great life.

When I first met Shaun, I was one fight loss away from quitting my fight career. As an MMA fighter, I had lost 4 fights in a row and had 10 wins and 8 losses from my professional career. Shaun helped me with my mindset around fighting and I not only won my next fight but went on to secure a UFC contract. I fought 6 times for the UFC. Now I run my own martial arts and fitness center, which I had always dreamed of but never thought was possible. When Shaun and I first worked together I told him my dream was to fight UFC and run my own gym, he absolutely helped me make that dream possible.

Shaun also helped me put my military career into perspective, including my deployment to Afghanistan where I was involved in combat. He helped me understand the PTSD I was diagnosed with was an injury as a result of my service. I have received support and treatment for my injuries because of this willingness to acknowledge my injuries from my service.

To say Shaun has helped me is an understatement, he showed me a totally different way of thinking and I have continued to develop this for the last 5 years. This has had a huge positive impact on my business, marriage, being a Dad and my life in general.

I would highly recommend Shaun to anyone who wants to make changes in their lives and achieve amazing outcomes.

Shaun is a refreshingly unique, left-of-centre character, who is totally up to something amazing in this world. Upon first meeting, Shaun completely understood my situation, but on the flip-side, he didn’t dwell on the detail. He helped me to move things forward in places I felt otherwise stuck. He showed me where I wasn’t helping myself, and in fact that I wasn’t stuck.

Whether the advice comes in the form of personal anecdote, relatable stories, or direct calling out of unhelpful behaviour – he has – hands down, been one of the most integral and pivotal advisors in my journey. The journey of mine was navigating the end of an abusive marriage, and ensuring my two beautiful children were minimally impacted – but you can insert ANY LIFE CHALLENGE here – and I know the influence of Shaun’s advice will have the same level of impact. I’ve never shied away from a challenge, but now I embrace it.

Shaun is the kind of person who lives his values and helps others to do the same. His infectious enthusiasm and energy are next-level – and single-handedly, he makes the world a better place.

“I am a Military veteran and was struggling with PTSD and major depression, before working with Shaun I was on drugs and seeing a Psychiatrist for 8 years just so I could function.

Now I am drug-free and have created meaningful connections, I am able to fully appreciate and connect with my children and partner on a whole new level. Best thing I ever did for myself!

I have PTSD well and truly under control, and I am moving forward in my business and my life in a way I never thought was possible.

I really cannot recommend Shaun’s mentoring program enough.”
